Why Choose Our Nepal Trekking Company?

We’ve been running treks in Nepal since 2018, privately guided, with honest pricing and no hidden costs. Here’s what that actually means:

Licensed, experienced guides — All our guides are government-licensed, English-speaking, and first-aid certified. Many are Sherpa with lifelong experience in the Everest region.

Small groups, personalised service — We keep group sizes small on purpose, so every trekker gets individual attention instead of a spot in a crowd.

Flexible, customisable itineraries — Departure dates, pacing, and routes adapt to your fitness, schedule, and goals — not the other way around.

Responsible tourism — Because we work here year-round, we pay fair wages to guides and porters, follow Leave No Trace practices, and support the communities along our routes.

Transparent pricing — No surprise costs. You get a complete cost breakdown before you book.

  • Solo female trekker in Annapurna region Nepal with mountain view

From the moment I landed, Mountain Hike Nepal had everything sorted. My guide knew the Annapurna trail well and kept a pace that matched my fitness instead of pushing me past it, which made a real difference on the longer days. Every stop, permit, and teahouse booking was handled without me having to think about it. Standing above the clouds with Annapurna III and Machapuchare right in front of me is something I still think about. I’d recommend Mountain Hike Nepal to anyone considering a solo trek in the Himalayas.

  • Solo trekker at Gokyo Lakes Everest region Nepal trekking experience

I did the Gokyo Lakes trek with Mountain Hike Nepal instead of the standard EBC route, mainly to get away from the crowds, and it worked. The lakes themselves are a strange turquoise you don’t quite believe until you’re standing next to one, and the climb up Gokyo Ri for sunrise over Cho Oyu and Everest was worth the early start. My guide paced things well and never made me feel rushed on the passes. If you want the Everest region without walking behind fifty other trekkers all day, this is the way to do it.

  • Trekker at Annapurna Base Camp Nepal with ABC signboard

I went with Mountain Hike Nepal for the Annapurna Base Camp trek and the trail variety surprised me the most — you start in humid lowland forest, pass through Gurung villages like Chhomrong, and end up walking into a natural amphitheater of 7,000 and 8,000 meter peaks at base camp. My guide was patient with my pace on the Deurali to ABC stretch, which is a genuine single-day altitude gain, and talked me through what to expect rather than just pushing forward. I’d recommend Mountain Hike Nepal to anyone doing the ABC trek, especially if it’s your first time at altitude.

  • Group trekkers in Langtang Valley Nepal mountain trekking experience

We picked the Langtang Valley trek with Mountain Hike Nepal because we didn’t have two weeks free, and it turned out to be the right call. You’re only 7-8 hours from Kathmandu by road, but the valley itself feels remote — dense forest through Langtang National Park, then it opens up into wide alpine terrain near Kyanjin Gompa. Our guide knew the trail well enough to explain what we were looking at rather than just walking ahead of us, which made the shorter days feel worth it rather than rushed. It’s a smaller trek than Everest or Annapurna, but it doesn’t feel like a compromise. We’d recommend Mountain Hike Nepal to anyone who wants a real Himalayan trek without needing three weeks off work.

  • Couple trekkers on Everest Base Camp trek Nepal experience

My wife and I did the Everest Base Camp trek with Mountain Hike Nepal, and what stood out was how our guide treated us as two people, not one unit. He’d check how each of us was handling the altitude separately, which mattered more than we expected once we got past Dingboche and the terrain got harder to judge. The logistics — Lukla flights, permits, teahouse bookings — were sorted before we had to think about them. Reaching base camp together, with the Khumbu Glacier right there, is a moment we still talk about. We’d recommend Mountain Hike Nepal to any couple thinking about doing EBC together.
