The Manang Valley Jeep Tour – 5 Days Private Tour is an overland road trip, not a trek. In a jeep, you cover what most travelers spend two weeks walking: the full Marsyangdi Valley, from Besisahar’s rice terraces to the high desert village of Manang at 3,519 m.
Past Besisahar, the road turns rough, climbing through Syange, Jagat, and Dharapani before Chame. It’s not a smooth ride — that’s the point.
Manang’s people, the Nyeshang, built one of the Himalaya’s most far-reaching trading networks, with royal permission to trade duty-free across Asia long before Nepal opened to outsiders. That history still shapes the village: stone houses, Buddhist-Bon monasteries, and a dialect unrelated to Nepali.
This is a private 4WD jeep tour. A guide isn’t required — the route is straightforward — but one can be added on request.
