Packing efficiently is crucial for an enjoyable adventure, and we recommend keeping your trekking bag weight under 20 KG for a hassle-free journey.
Essential Trekking Gear
Clothing:
- Insulated fleece jacket or warm down jacket
- Thermal base layers (top and bottom)
- Lightweight trekking shirts (long and short-sleeved)
- Quick-dry trekking pants
- Windproof and waterproof outer layers
- Comfortable nightwear thermals
- Fleece or sweatpants for extra warmth
- Sun hat and warm woolen hat
- Neck gaiter or scarf
- UV-protection sunglasses
Hand & Footwear:
- Insulated gloves or mittens
- Hiking boots (waterproof and well-broken-in)
- Comfortable trekking socks (wool or synthetic)
- Lightweight sandals or camp shoes
Accessories:
- Trekking poles (adjustable)
- High-quality sleeping bag (rated for cold temperatures)
- Headlamp or flashlight with extra batteries
- Quick-dry towel
- Reusable water bottles (minimum 2 liters)
- Water purification tablets or filter
- Sunscreen (SPF 35+) and lip balm

- Walking poles, down jackets, and sleeping bags are available for rent in Kathmandu upon request at an additional cost.
