The Government of Nepal has announced an issue for the flight operation to Lukla. Most of the flights to Lukla will commence from Ramechhap until further notice to avoid the heavy traffic congestion in Kathmandu airport. The airport in Ramechhap is located 130km from Kathmandu (approximately 3-4 hours drive).

Day 01: Drive to Sundarijal and Hike to Chisapani; 5 hrs walk
Today we beings from journey about 15 km drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal that takes roughly. 35-40 min. From this point we continue our hike towards Chisapani. Sundarijal follows a scenic path to Chisapani, along the unbeatable stone stairs that go up to Chisapani. It’s an enjoyable trip through the rhododendron area. First, we’re heading for Shivapuri National Park entrance, which shows us the first way to Chisapani. And then, for the next few hours, we’ll keep walking along the marked path, before Chisapani. The pathway is well established, and the views of the surrounding area are incredibly amazing, making this hike so famous with domestic travelers also. It requires about 5 hours to get there from Sundarijal to Chisapani. Chisapani is a village of the Sherpa, facing the majestic Langtang and Gaurishankar ranges.

Day 02: Hike to Nagarkot; 7 hrs walk
We’ll wake up early in the morning of a dawn, like most hikers do, to hike towards Nagarkot. The path is also very physically challenging today, because it requires about 7 hours to get to Nagarkot’s hill station. But, no worries; gorgeous vistas are fully great to make you forget the tiredness. Most of the walk up to Nagarkot is by the Shivapuri National Park forest. This environment is all-natural and pure, enough to pull the spirit, body, and soul into the wild. You rest at Chauki Bhanjyang for lunch, and then start the walk up to the Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a beautiful perspective behind the far-reaching mountain panoramas to see the stunning sunrise from behind. So, you’ll make a stop at one of Nagarkot’s lodges.
Day 03: Hike to Changunarayan temple and back to Kathmandu by driving
We’ll wake up early in the morning to experience the impressive sunrise from the Nagarkot Hilltop, Which is an absolutely amazing experience. The milieu transforms into golden, all of a sudden, when the sun climbs above the snow-clad range. It is one of nature’s soul-piercing vistas. We can walk to the Changunarayan temple discover it and drive back to Kathmandu afterwards. And, if you are too tired, you can also go to Kathmandu directly.
