Day 01: Sarangkot Sunrise and Pokhara sightseeing
Early in the morning, our driver with the vehicle will arrive at your hotel and drive to Sarangkot Hill. It’s around a half-hour ride from Pokhara lakeside. Sarangkot lies at 1592 m, one of Pokhara’s famous Sunrise and Mountain View hills. North of Pokhara, this mountain overlooks the valley and Fewa Lake. Sarangkot is a beautiful village best known for its sunrise, where you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the Annapurna Range Himalayan Mountains, Dhaulagiri Range, Fishtail and lush green hills, rice terraces and stunning views of Pokhara Valley.
You will return to your hotel for breakfast after visiting the Sarangkot View and visit the Bindhyabasini Temple on the way back to the Hotel. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati. The Goddess is a common deity known as Shakti in Hinduism. The temple is called West Nepal’s largest Shaktipiths. Unless some stories are believed, this temple is directly connected to the Vindhyachal temple in Uttar Pradesh, India. The temple is painted in gold, and pilgrims crowd the temple during Dashain, offering tributes to their guardian deity. The temple is also a popular hub for the marriage ceremony. In the temple grounds, a large tree offers a peaceful place for reflection and relaxation.
After breakfast, you can tour the Tal Barahi Temple. You can go to the Tal Bahari Temple by boating as the Tal Bahari is in Small Island in the center of Phewa Lake. Tal Barahi Temple’s exterior includes a two-story pagoda frame with a Gajur on top. The Gajur is gold-plated, while the other structure is stone-plated, and the temple has a stroke roof. Tal Barahi Temple dedicated to Goddess Durga: Gods Protector. The temple is a wonderful place to rest and observe holy rituals.
You’ll travel to Peace Pagoda stupa after visiting Tal Bahari Temple. Pokhara’s Peace Pagoda is an example of serenity and happiness. Perched on a small hill, the Pagoda is beautifully draped in white, symbolizing its innocence and taintless nature. It overlooks the Annapurna Mountains and focuses on the peaceful Fewa Lake below. Peace Pagoda is a perfect place for wanderers seeking peace and quiet. Tripadvisor rated Peace Pagoda as the second location in the Pokhara Valley. This further solidifies the argument that the Peace Pagoda should be visited. The pagoda premises are deliberately silenced to maintain its tranquility and engage visitors in meditation art.
Davi`s Falls is a small waterfall situated in Pokhara, Nepal’s Kaski district. There’s nothing else enchanting or even appealing about the waterfall at first glance, besides some splashes here and there. To completely experience its splendor, it must be visited at the monsoon season. During that time, water bursts through the rocky slopes and falls into a tunnel. The rapids’ crashing noise drowns human sound, and water spilling requires either a raincoat or an umbrella. The high waters don’t deter visitors from walking near the water. Davi`s Falls is famous among both Nepali and foreign tourists. Visit this spectacular place at its best to see nature’s unblemished beauty.
Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave (known in local language as Bhalu Dulo) is regarded as one of Nepal’s longest caves over 2,000 meters long. The cave sits across Davi’s dropping, and one can hear the thundering sound of water inside the cave. According to local beliefs, the 16th-century cave was said to be discovered. During those days, there were no modern-day decorations you see today. The cave’s main entrance was only installed in 1991 AD.
After visiting the Cave, we will drive to the International mountain museum. When you want to dive deeper into the history of mountains and other mountaineering sports, the safest approach will be to take a peek at the International Mountain Museum. You’ll consider some of Mount Everest’s secret mysteries.
After visiting the above attractions you will be dropped at your hotel in Pokhara and the day in Pokhara is finished.
