Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu:

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you’ll be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. You’ll have some time to rest and explore the city.

Day 2: Drive to Syabrubesi:

After breakfast, we’ll drive to Syabrubesi, a small town located in the Langtang region. The drive takes around 8-9 hours, and you’ll be treated to stunning views of the Himalayas along the way. We’ll stay overnight in Syabrubesi.

Day 3: Trek to Lama Hotel:

On day three, we’ll start our trek by walking to Lama Hotel. The trek takes around 6-7 hours, and you’ll be surrounded by lush forests, waterfalls, and beautiful landscapes. We’ll stay overnight in Lama Hotel.

Day 4: Trek to Langtang Village:

 Today, we’ll continue our trek to Langtang Village, a traditional Tamang village located at an altitude of 3,430m. The trek takes around 6-7 hours, and you’ll be treated to stunning mountain views and unique cultural experiences. We’ll stay overnight in Langtang Village.

Day 5: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa:

On day five, we’ll trek to Kyanjin Gompa, a picturesque village located at an altitude of 3,870m. The trek takes around 3-4 hours, and you’ll have the opportunity to visit a local cheese factory and sample some of the region’s famous yak cheese. We’ll stay overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 6: Exploration day in Kyanjin Gompa:

Today, you’ll have a rest day in Kyanjin Gompa, which gives you the opportunity to explore the village and its surroundings. You can go for short hikes, visit the Kyanjin Monastery, or enjoy the stunning mountain views. We’ll stay overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 7: Helicopter tour and return to Kathmandu:

Today, we’ll take a helicopter tour of the Langtang region and its stunning mountains, including Langtang Lirung (7,227m) and the Ganesh Himal range. After the tour, we’ll fly back to Kathmandu and transfer you to your hotel. We’ll stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 8: Departure:

Today, our representative will transfer you to the airport for your flight back home.

The Luxury Langtang Trekking experience offered by Mountain Hike Nepal was simply out of this world. As we trekked through Langtang’s serene landscapes, we were treated to high-end accommodations and exquisite meals, making the journey as comfortable as it was captivating. The highlight, without a doubt, was the flight from Kyanjin Gompa to Kathmandu. Seeing the rugged terrains and verdant valleys from above, after having walked those very paths, was surreal.
