Overnight stay in Ghandruk

Day 02: Hike from Ghandruk to Tadapani (2675m) 3-4 hrs

We leave behind terraced hillsides and Ghandruk village, walking through rhododendron and oak trees. There are no villages on this road, but the place called Baisi Kharkha (Buffalo Grassing place) has a few teahouses to rest. We’ll see impressive views of Machhapuchhare (6993 meters), Annapurna II (7937 meters), Annapurna III (7555 meters), Annapurna IV (7525 meters), Annapurna South (7237 meters) and Lamjung Himal (6931 meters).Overnight stay in Tadapani

Day 03: Trek from Tadapani – Dobato (3350m) 4-5 hours.

After Tadapani, we exit the main trail and walk in a more remote place of Annapurna for the next five days. Today we get to enjoy the region’s diverse flora and fauna and, of course, the magnificent view of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna South. Trekking on a fairly easy route we reach Dobato, overtaken by the excellent view of South Annapurna. Overnight stay in Dobato

Day 04: Trek from Dobato to Upper Chistibung (2,975m) 4-5 hours

After breakfast, we decline through open land and lovely forest to enter Lower Chistibung pastures. Next, we slowly climb through a forest before reaching Upper Chistibung, a temporary herder’s settlement. If you’re lucky, you could even see the colorful Lophophorus (Danphe), Nepal’s national bird, and Himalayan thar on the grassy ridge above the path. Overnight in Upper Chistibung

Day 05: Trek from Upper chistubung to Khopra Ridge (3,660m): 3-4 hours

We begin walk on a steady rise over the tree line through alpine pastures to reach Khopra. As we enter Khopra Mountain, we find Annapurna South’s edge. Upon reaching Khopra, we stroll down Khopra Ridge for a short walk to a ridge overlooking Kali Gandaki River far below in this deep valley. We also appreciate the breathtaking mountain panoramic view from Khopra including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Annapurna South. Overnight stay in Khopra Ridge

We start walking around six in the morning towards Kaire Lake from where we get outstanding views of the Fang and surrounding landscape. Regarded by the Hindus a holy lake, bathing in the lake is thought to help achieve Nirvana. As Hinduism and Buddhism are closely related in Nepal, we can even see several Hindu and Buddhist shrines on the lakeside. For those of us who don’t want to walk to the shore, a half-day walk from Khopra can be arranged.  Overnight stay in Khopra Ridge

Day 07: Trek from Khopra to Swanta Village (2,200m/): 5-6 hours

From Khopra Ridge we stroll down the hillside on a steep path. We have more perspectives of Mount Dhaulagiri across the way, with the mountain providing a beautiful background to the terraced fields and traditional houses in nearby villages. Overnight in swanta village

Day 08: Trek to Ulleri (2,050 m/6,725 ft): 5-6 hours

We go from Swanta down to a small river via the village areas and look at the local water mill instantly. After Ghorepani we decline to Ulleri via the forest of rhododendrons where we are overnight.

Day 09: Trek to Naya Pul then drive to Pokhara: 5-6 hours trek, 1 hour drive

Enjoy the beautiful hillside of Western Nepal on our way to Nayapul. Our trip to the beautiful lake town of Pokhara will end in Nayapul. We board our vehicle.
