The Government of Nepal has announced an issue for the flight operation to Lukla. Most of the flights to Lukla will commence from Ramechhap until further notice to avoid the heavy traffic congestion in Kathmandu airport. The airport in Ramechhap is located 130km from Kathmandu (approximately 3-4 hours drive).

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
We will be greeted by a representative from Mountain Hike Nepal who will take us at our hotel upon arrival in Kathmandu at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA). Free time to explore around on own, Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 02: City tour in Kathmandu
Today, after breakfast, we begin a private tour to Kathmandu’s four UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Kathmandu Durbar Square houses the palaces of the ancient kings who ruled Kathmandu Kingdom.
Pashupatinath Temple is one of Hindus’ most important pilgrimage sites worldwide.
Swayambhunath, located in the city’s center, is also named Monkey Temple by tourists due to the large number of monkeys in the temple town.
Boudhnath is one of the world’s highest stupas, and one of Kathmandu’s holiest pilgrimage and tourist destinations. Boudhnath is also renowned for over 50 Tibetan gompas or monasteries. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 03: Drive to Chitwan National Park
After breakfast we drive to Chitwan, 175 km from Kathmandu.
Upon checking in at the hotel, there will be a presentation on the programs we will conduct throughout our stay in Chitwan.
We drive down the winding path on Trishuli River banks.
We then walk on Rapti River banks to enjoy the sunset in Chitwan’s subtropical jungles.
At night, we enjoy dinner along with a brief cultural program highlighting cultural dances local to Nepal’s Chitwan region. Overnight stay in Sauraha
Day 04: Explore national park activities
We’ll be seated on elephant backs early in the morning for a jungle safari over thick grasslands to see wildlife in their natural habitat.
Throughout the afternoon we can either travel via the jungles, accompanied by a canoe down the Rapti River.
After breakfast, we visit elephant stables and also enjoy elephant bathing.
Along with fresh water dolphins, otters and water bird species, we should look closely at the Gharial and Mugger crocodiles.
Or, we can also go for birding or nature walks and get closer to the park’s variety of wild flora and fauna.

Day 05: Drive to Pokhara
After breakfast, we leave Chitwan for Pokhara, also known as Lake City due to the city’s large number of lakes.
First, the road crosses Chitwan’s subtropical jungles and lush vegetation.
We can also walk in Pokhara streets and enjoy being in one of Nepal’s most beautiful cities

Day 06: Sarangkot hike and Sunset View
Early in the morning we depart for Sarangkot, a hill that overlooks the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges in the north and the main city in the south.
We rest at a Sarangkot tea-house and enjoy spectacular sunset views as it sets in the mighty Himalayas.
We also get below a view of the Pokhara city and vibrant Fewa Lake.
Day 07: Sunrise and Pokhara City Tour
We take in Sarangkot’s early morning sunrise before heading back to Pokhara and visiting the city’s many landmarks.
Davis Falls is a rare waterfall that flows directly into a long, dark, endless channel.
Located near Davis Drop, the Shiva Cave houses a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, a main Hindu deity.
We also boat in Phewa Lake, Pokhara’s largest lake, and visit Bindyabasini Temple in the middle of the lake.
We visit the popular International Mountain Museum (IMM) that tracks, registers and retells the past and present development of mountaineering operations in the world, particularly the Himalayas.
We also visit the Tibetan refugee camp and see refugees keeping busy making and selling woolen carpets and other handicrafts
Day 08: Drive to Nagarkot via Kathmandu
After eating, we bid farewell to Pokhara’s stunning northern scenery, heading to Kathmandu.
This will be a hillside ride with stunning views of mountains and rural Nepalese environment.
From the city we begin our drive to Nagarkot, a village in Kathmandu Valley famed for its Himalayan sunrise and sunset scenes.

Day 09: Explore Sunrise View, explore Bhaktapur and Patan durbar square
We enjoy spectacular sunrise views in the Mountains early morning.
After breakfast we drive down to Bhaktapur and eventually Patan.
Bhakatpur is an enticing city with traditional local lifestyle protected from Kathmandu’s hustle and bustle for generations.

Day 10: Departure
Our trip in Nepal ends today! A Mountain Hike Nepal representative will drive us to the airport about 3 hours before return flight.
You have to follow the mentioned terms and conditions before you should confirm your booking with our Mountain Hike Nepal team. You should read them in a careful way to stay aware with respective rights as well as obligations.
Note: For Bhutan and Tibet tours, if you intend to travel directly to those countries, you will pay the balance sum 20 days before your departure date. We reserve the right to cancel your trip if you cannot pay within our agreed period.
We also consider last-minute reservations. You can book a trip to Nepal 7 days before departure. However, last-minute bookings may not be eligible for Bhutan or Tibet.
A written letter will be submitted to us, for whatever cause, you cannot travel on the assigned days.
If the Nepal tour is postponed, a minimum of US$ 100.00 is compensated as a cancelation fee, and hence the remaining balance is allocated for the postponed trip.
You have to cancel your confirmed trek/tour booking with our Mountain Hike Nepal team in writing minimum 2 weeks before your scheduled trip. You may provide this in writing document or email.
However, even though you may cancel your trip, your down payment amount i.e. 20% of the total price is non-refundable.
But if you have paid more than just the deposit, we would then 20% deduction from the sum and the remainder will be refunded from the initial payment system.
And this policy is valid right after registering your reservation with us. If you intend to cancel your travel within 30 days or fewer than 30 days within your departure date, 20 % deposit is non-refundable.
The Total deposit you made for every Bhutan and Tibet tour would be called cancelation charge. We cannot postpone any trip to Bhutan and Tibet after booked for particular dates.
We are not responsible for any refunds for any incomplete trip, trek or expedition, whatever the reasons from customer’s side.
If your tour is canceled due to unexpected events such as natural disasters, battle or adverse climatic conditions, we will arrange another tour. And that even if your trip isn’t your preference, your money won’t go in waste.
We reserve our right to change prices under various situations. While our actions must be appropriate, just like in situations such as dramatic exchange rate fluctuations, inflation or government acts, we are not liable to answer for our actions.
To attend all of our trips, all our customers should have a full travel insurance policy. Insurance must cover all medical costs, personal injuries, emergency evacuations, travel cancellations, loss of gears and natural calamity, luggage theft or injury and personal belongings.
Flight delays and cancellations are likely to occur frequently in remote areas, especially in the Everest region, jomsom, Dolpo, Simikot and Jumla. Therefore, in case of delays, it is best to bring some extra money to purchase food and lodging. Mountain Hike Nepal won’t be responsible for any extra expenses. Please, prepare accordingly.
If you perform any illegal act during your trip and you are forced to leave Nepal, Mountain Hike Nepal is not responsible for any refunds.
