It Located 72 kilometers north-east of Kathmandu, Langtang Helambu Trekking is one of the closest trekking routes to appreciate cultural and natural beauty. Trekking to this area is a rare chance to appreciate the scenery of mountain peaks, spectacular flora and faunas, woodland rhododendron, local history, and more. Beginning from Sundarijal, the trail crosses the rhododendron forest and several traditional villages where we can rest and learn about their lifestyle and culture. Following the court, we will admire hill-terraced farmland’s greenish natural scenery. See huge snow cones include Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Ganesh Himal, Langshisa Ri, Naya Kanga.Travel through Langtang National Park, we can see many magnificent floras like those of red pandas, musk deer, Himalayan black bear, Himalayan Tahr, Ghoral, Serow, rhesus monkey and local langur. To explore cultural elegance, we may visit several ancient monasteries and gompas built by local Tamang residents.

Beginning our journey, we’ll take a short bus ride from Kathmandu to Sunadraijal. Sunadarijal is a stunning location where you can see water and waterfalls everywhere, as well as the valley’s water supply. Picnic and hangouts are popular here. Instead we will ascend into Chisapani village enjoying the panoramic views of snowy giants. Instead the path reaches the Helambu area with a crystal clear vision of spectacular scenery and mountains, mountain ranges, and even monasteries can be seen. Finally, we’ll travel to Melamchi Pool bazar across hills and then drive back to Kathmandu.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, after clearing immigration and customs, at the arrival gate where you will meet and be guided by our airport representative and drive to the hotel for check-in.

 Day 02: Drive to Sundarijal and Hike to Chisapani; 5 hrs trek

Today we beings from journey about 15 km drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal that takes roughly. 35-40 min. From this point we continue our hike towards Chisapani. Sundarijal follows a scenic path to Chisapani, along the unbeatable stone stairs that go up to Chisapani. It’s an enjoyable trip through the rhododendron area. First, we’re heading for Shivapuri National Park entrance, which shows us the first way to Chisapani. And then, for the next few hours, we’ll keep walking along the marked path, before Chisapani. The pathway is well established, and the views of the surrounding area are incredibly amazing, making this hike so famous with domestic travelers also. It requires about 5 hours to get there from Sundarijal to Chisapani. Chisapani is a village of the Sherpa, facing the majestic Langtang and Gaurishankar ranges.

Day 03: Trek to Kutumsang ; 7 hrs trek

After breakfast at the restaurant, we set off on a trek to Kutumsang, our next stop. The path continues with a good meadow-field crossing. Along the way, we will appreciate breathtaking Langtang Mountain views. We proceed until we reach Pathi Bhyanjyang and Gul Bhyanjyang. From here, the path leads to another transfer. And then, another pass downhill trek leads us to Kutumsang.

Day 04: Trek to Thadepati ; 6 hrs trek

We ascend a steep path to Kutumsang after breakfast. The court passes across woodland fir and rhododendron, where there are no established villages. Our trek proceeds to Yurin Danda with Himalayan views. We finally reach Thadepati.

Day 05: Trek to Tarkeghyang; 6 hrs Trek

We headed for Tarkeghyang today. In the early trek walk, the track climbs down to the Melamchi Khola. Then we travel to Tarkeghyang via several Sherpa settlements. We will admire the sight of Himalayan peaks that emerged early in the morning when the sun shines. However, find and visit the village and monastery, one of the region’s oldest and biggest monasteries. The village is more popularly known as Helambu because most residents belong to Helmo caste.

Day 06: Trek to Sermathang; 4 hrs trek

Overall, today is a simple hike than ever. After breakfast, we stroll through the green wood, tiny lakes, picturesque waterfalls. The trail also curves the broad valley and ends between Parachin and Gangyul’s Sherpa village. Then we hit Sermathang, visit the village and its lifestyle. We’ll also see the Buddhist temple at the village’s peak point.

Day 07: Trek to Melamchi Pul Bazaar & then drive back to Kathmandu: 3/4 hrs trek, 2 hrs drive

Today is our last trek day. After breakfast we take the road to Melamchi Bazar, which is around three / four hours walking. Then we’ll grab a Kathmandu ride. Melamchi bazar is mainly settled by Tamang and Sherpa. And then we’ll board Kathmandu’s flight. After a two-hour trip, we arrive at Kathmandu and you’ll be shifted to hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu

Day 08: Departure

Our journey to Nepal ends today! Around 3 hours before the scheduled flight our representative will take you to the airport.

BOOKING WITH US

  • For booking Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan Tours, You should send with a photocopy of your passport and a 20% deposit of the trip’s overall expense after booking the tours.   The 20% deposit sum is non-refundable once you’ve made the travel down payment. The deposit would be treated as a cancelation charge if you cancel your travel any day after booking with us. The outstanding balance can be paid on arriving in Kathmandu before you start your trek / tour.

Note: For Bhutan and Tibet tours, if you intend to travel directly to those countries, you will pay the balance sum 20 days before your departure date. We reserve the right to cancel your trip if you cannot pay within our agreed period.

  • You get the receipt indicating your final booking confirmation once you make advance payment and provide photocopies of your passports.
  • We accept varying modes of payments to provide you convenience related to money transfer. These include payments via credit cards, money grams, Western Union and bank transfer. However, you have to pay the service charge of the bank while you deposit the down payment.

LAST-MINUTE RESERVATION

We also consider last-minute reservations. You can book a trip to Nepal 7 days before departure. However, last-minute bookings may not be eligible for Bhutan or Tibet.

TO POSTPONED NEPAL TRIP

A written letter will be submitted to us, for whatever cause, you cannot travel on the assigned days.

If the Nepal tour is postponed, a minimum of US$ 100.00 is compensated as a cancelation fee, and hence the remaining balance is allocated for the postponed trip.

RISK AND LIABILITIES

You have to cancel your confirmed trek/tour booking with our Mountain Hike Nepal team in writing minimum 2 weeks before your scheduled trip. You may provide this in writing document or email.

However, even though you may cancel your trip, your down payment amount i.e. 20% of the total price is non-refundable.

But if you have paid more than just the deposit, we would then 20% deduction from the sum and the remainder will be refunded from the initial payment system.

And this policy is valid right after registering your reservation with us. If you intend to cancel your travel within 30 days or fewer than 30 days within your departure date, 20 % deposit is non-refundable.

TRIP CANCELLATION POLICY FOR TIBET AND BHUTAN

The Total deposit you made for every Bhutan and Tibet tour would be called cancelation    charge. We cannot postpone any trip to Bhutan and Tibet after booked for particular dates.

INCOMPLETE TRIP

We are not responsible for any refunds for any incomplete trip, trek or expedition, whatever the reasons from customer’s side.

UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

 If your tour is canceled due to unexpected events such as natural disasters, battle or adverse climatic conditions, we will arrange another tour. And that even if your trip isn’t your preference, your money won’t go in waste.

CHANGING IN PRICE

We reserve our right to change prices under various situations. While our actions must be appropriate, just like in situations such as dramatic exchange rate fluctuations, inflation or government acts, we are not liable to answer for our actions.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

To attend all of our trips, all our customers should have a full travel insurance policy. Insurance must cover all medical costs, personal injuries, emergency evacuations, travel cancellations, loss of gears and natural calamity, luggage theft or injury and personal belongings.

FLIGHT DELAYS AND CANCELLATION

Flight delays and cancellations are likely to occur frequently in remote areas, especially in the Everest region, jomsom, Dolpo, Simikot and Jumla. Therefore, in case of delays, it is best to bring some extra money to purchase food and lodging. Mountain Hike Nepal won’t be responsible for any extra expenses. Please, prepare accordingly.

ILLEGAL ACT BY CLIENTS

If you perform any illegal act during your trip and you are forced to leave Nepal, Mountain Hike Nepal is not responsible for any refunds.
