The Government of Nepal has announced an issue for the flight operation to Lukla. Most of the flights to Lukla will commence from Ramechhap until further notice to avoid the heavy traffic congestion in Kathmandu airport. The airport in Ramechhap is located 130km from Kathmandu (approximately 3-4 hours drive).

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu
Land at the Tribhuvan International Airport. Our tour agent will pick you up to transfer to the hotel. Relax for rest of the day.
Day 2 Kathmandu
After breakfast, we will go for a full-day Kathmandu city tour. We visit the various UNESCO World Heritage site including famous Swayambhunath also known as Monkey Temple, Bouddhanath, and Pashupatinath. Old buildings and culture enchant tourists in the city.
Day 3 Kathmandu – Bandipur Village
Today we drive by car from Kathmandu to Bandipur. The road goes along a valley for a few hours. Enjoy beautiful landscapes en-route. Reach Bandipur. It’s the best village to explore the real Nepalese local life, rich culture, and their tradition.
Day 4 Bandipur – Pokhara
After breakfast, we drive towards Pokhara which is a 1 hour 30 min drive. During the drive view brilliant Himalayan ranges including the peaks of Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu etc. Reach Pokhara, rest of the day relax or wander in the streets of the beautiful city.
Day 5 Pokhara
After early morning breakfast, we head for a sightseeing tour in Pokhara. First, visit the impressive places like as Davi’s Fall, Gupteswor Mahadev Cave, world peace pagoda, Tal Barahi Temple, and enjoy boating on Phewa Lake. Enjoy with the grand picturesque view of several Himalayan mountains around the Pokhara Valley.
Then discover the way Hindu devotees pay their tribute as a pilgrimage tour in Vindhyavasini temple. Afterward, proceed to view the mountaineering things and its detailed information at the International Mountain Museum. Lastly, visit the old bazaar for some shopping experience, buying traditional Nepalese items and souvenirs. Return to the hotel.
Day 6 Pokhara – Tansen (Palpa)
After breakfast, we drive toward the west of Pokhara to reach Palpa (Tansen) settled on the slope of Shreenagar hill (1371m). Tansen has rich natural beauty and subtle cultural heritage. Enjoy the majestic view of the famous peaks like Dhaulagiri and Tukche here.
Day 7 Tansen – Lumbini/Bhairahawa
Today we drive towards Lumbini, birthplace of Lord Buddha. Reach Lumbini. Here we visit the Lumbini Garden, Museum, Mayadevi Temple, and other various sacred monasteries, and Stupa. You can relax trying some meditation for a couple of hours in the garden or monastery. Discover authentic Nepalese culture in this town.
Day 8 Lumbini – Chitwan
Today we proceed our drive towards Chitwan by car. We will pass through several farm villages following the Trisuli River and the rolling hills joining the Terai lowlands in the Chitwan area.
Day 9 Chitwan
Early morning, we start our jungle safari tour with various jungle activities in Chitwan National Park. Chitwan National Park is one of the most famous and oldest National Parks in Nepal.
The jungle activities include elephant safari, bird watching, and jungle walks. Additionally, after some rest, we proceed with other activities like elephant bathing and cave canoe ride on the Rapti river. En-route view the Gangetic Gharial and Marsh Mugger Crocodiles and various water birds like Ruddysal ducks, King Fisher, storks, and egrets.
Day 10 Chitwan
Early morning, we head for bird watching tour in the jungle. Common birds viewed in the park are Red Junglefowl, Peafowl, and different species of Egrets, Kingfishers, Herons, Flycatchers, and Woodpeckers. You may also get the opportunity to witness the endangered birds in this park like the Giant Hornbill, the Bengal florican, the Lesser Florican, White Stork, and the Black Stork. In the evening, enjoy striking sunsets within its wondrous landscapes and Tharu Stick cultural dance along with a fabulous buffet dinner.
Day 11 Chitwan – Daman
After breakfast, we drive to Daman enjoying the beautiful view of the mountain ranges from west to east. Reach Daman.
Day 12 Daman – Chandragiri Hill – Kathmandu
After breakfast, we drive to Cable Car Station, Thankot to catch Cable Car for reaching Chandragiri Hill 2410 m. above sea level. It’s just 12 minutes ride to land at the Chandragiri Hill. Appreciate a unique experience of panoramic views of high Himalayan ranges from Annapurna to Everest along with the stunning views of the pristine scenery of Kathmandu Valley beneath. Here we can explore several temples too like popular Bhaleshor Mahadev temple with wondrous stone and wood carving, artistic rest houses, stone water taps within the village. Later, return to Kathmandu.
Day 13 Kathmandu – Bhaktapur – Nagarkot
Early morning, we continue our drive eastward to the Bhaktapur. On reaching we visit a fascinating Durbar Square with the ancient palaces which now have become museums and infinite temples. Later, we move to Nagarkot situated at 2100m above sea level. Relax on reaching Nagarkot.
Day 14 Nagarkot – Kathmandu
Early morning, we begin the hike to Nagarkot, settled at an altitude of 2,100 meters famous for beautiful sunrise views. Enjoy a beautiful morning with a panoramic view of sun reflecting light on a wide range of snow-topped pinnacles like Mt. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Jugal Himal, Langtang, Gauri Shanker spreading around Everest mountain range. Take some amazing photographs then we leave for our ride back to Kathmandu.
Day 15 Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast, our tour agent will transfer you to Kathmandu International Airport for your flight back home with lots of cherished memories.
You have to follow the mentioned terms and conditions before you should confirm your booking with our Mountain Hike Nepal team. You should read them in a careful way to stay aware with respective rights as well as obligations.
Note: For Bhutan and Tibet tours, if you intend to travel directly to those countries, you will pay the balance sum 20 days before your departure date. We reserve the right to cancel your trip if you cannot pay within our agreed period.
We also consider last-minute reservations. You can book a trip to Nepal 7 days before departure. However, last-minute bookings may not be eligible for Bhutan or Tibet.
A written letter will be submitted to us, for whatever cause, you cannot travel on the assigned days.
If the Nepal tour is postponed, a minimum of US$ 100.00 is compensated as a cancelation fee, and hence the remaining balance is allocated for the postponed trip.
You have to cancel your confirmed trek/tour booking with our Mountain Hike Nepal team in writing minimum 2 weeks before your scheduled trip. You may provide this in writing document or email.
However, even though you may cancel your trip, your down payment amount i.e. 20% of the total price is non-refundable.
But if you have paid more than just the deposit, we would then 20% deduction from the sum and the remainder will be refunded from the initial payment system.
And this policy is valid right after registering your reservation with us. If you intend to cancel your travel within 30 days or fewer than 30 days within your departure date, 20 % deposit is non-refundable.
The Total deposit you made for every Bhutan and Tibet tour would be called cancelation charge. We cannot postpone any trip to Bhutan and Tibet after booked for particular dates.
We are not responsible for any refunds for any incomplete trip, trek or expedition, whatever the reasons from customer’s side.
If your tour is canceled due to unexpected events such as natural disasters, battle or adverse climatic conditions, we will arrange another tour. And that even if your trip isn’t your preference, your money won’t go in waste.
We reserve our right to change prices under various situations. While our actions must be appropriate, just like in situations such as dramatic exchange rate fluctuations, inflation or government acts, we are not liable to answer for our actions.
To attend all of our trips, all our customers should have a full travel insurance policy. Insurance must cover all medical costs, personal injuries, emergency evacuations, travel cancellations, loss of gears and natural calamity, luggage theft or injury and personal belongings.
Flight delays and cancellations are likely to occur frequently in remote areas, especially in the Everest region, jomsom, Dolpo, Simikot and Jumla. Therefore, in case of delays, it is best to bring some extra money to purchase food and lodging. Mountain Hike Nepal won’t be responsible for any extra expenses. Please, prepare accordingly.
If you perform any illegal act during your trip and you are forced to leave Nepal, Mountain Hike Nepal is not responsible for any refunds.
