The Government of Nepal has announced an issue for the flight operation to Lukla. Most of the flights to Lukla will commence from Ramechhap until further notice to avoid the heavy traffic congestion in Kathmandu airport. The airport in Ramechhap is located 130km from Kathmandu (approximately 3-4 hours drive).

Day 01: Drive to Sauraha by Tourist bus
We’re going to drive to Sauraha from Kathmandu. It’s more around 150 kilometers away from Kathmandu. We’re going down the road on the side of the Trishuli River. As soon when we get to Sauraha, our staff will advise you about the things we’re going to do when we stay here. In the evening, we will celebrate our dinner along with the cultural program presented by Tharu.
Day 02: Jungle Activities
We’re going to get on elephant back for jungle safari today before breakfast. We explore the elephant stables after breakfast, and even love the elephants bathing. We can walk thru the jungle at noon, or enjoy boating on the Rapti River. Along with other aquatic species such as dolphins and water birds, we’ll have a careful look of Mugger crocodiles on boating. We are going to spend the night in Chitwan.
Day 03: Departure
We will spend some time viewing some refugee birds before breakfast, as this park inhabits more than 500 bird species. After that we will depart you to your onward Journey. (Kathmandu/Lumbini/Pokhara)
